To become a CA, the examination of the candidates is conducted in 3 stages, after achieving success in which the candidates can fulfill their dream of becoming a CA. Which is like this –

  • CA Foundation Course
  • CA Intermediate Course
  • CA Final Exam Course

1. Phase I – CA Foundation Course

The candidates interested in this post have to start their preparation after passing 12th. Earlier the name of this course was CPT, in which the candidates were given entrance test for CA. At that time, to do this course, candidates had to register only after 10th. But now it is known as CA Foundation Course. For which the candidates have to register after 12th. Once registered for CA Foundation, its recognition remains for 3 years. If you do not pass it in 3 years, you have to re-register for it.

CA foundation course Fee:

Candidates doing CA Foundation Course have to pay a registration fee of Rs 11300. Along with this, if you want to study coaching in any institute, then you have to pay a separate fee for that.

Exam Time:

CA Foundation Course exam is conducted every year in the month of May and November. The candidates who complete the registration process for this course get 4 months to study. After this, the candidates join the examination by filling the Foundation Exam Form.

Exam for CA Foundation: There are 4 papers in CA Foundation. For which candidates get 3 hours to solve. All these papers are done for 100 marks. It is mandatory for the candidates to get at least 40% marks and 50% marks in all the papers to get success in these examinations.

2. Phase II – CA Intermediate Course:

The candidates who have cracked the CA Foundation have to join the CA Intermediate course by adopting the second stage. For this, candidates can apply for direct recruitment in foundation route or CA course.

Direct Recruitment to CA Intermediate Course: It is not mandatory for the candidates doing graduation or post graduation from any stream to do CA foundation, but for this, candidates should have minimum 55% marks in commerce stream in graduation / post graduation and 60% marks in other streams.

Exam for CA Intermediate Course: There are 8 papers in CA Intermediate, which are of 100 marks. To pass in all these papers, it is mandatory for the candidates to get at least 40% marks and it is mandatory for the candidates to get 50% marks by combining all the marks.

Validity of Registration: Once registered by the candidates, it is valid for 4 years. This exam is conducted every year in the month of May and November.

Fees: To take this course, the candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.27200.

3. Phase III CA Final Course:

Candidates who pass CA Intermediate, then they have to apply for 3 years CA article ship. This course is conducted as your practical training. After this, candidates can also apply for CA final 6 months before completing this training. This is the last stage of becoming a CA and the most difficult exam, after passing which the candidate is appointed for the post of CA.

Recognition of CA final course Registration: Once the registration for CA final is done, it is valid for 5 years. Along with this, the candidates who are not able to pass it in 5 years, then they can apply for it again.

CA final course Fee: To join the CA final course, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.32300.

Ca Final course timings: After the completion of the registration process, the candidates are given 4 months to study. After this, the candidates can enter the examination center by filling the final exam form and taking the admit card. If you do not have the admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the exam center.

CA Final Exam: In CA Final Exam also 8 papers are organized like Intermediate. To pass, it is mandatory for the candidates to get at least 40% and 50% marks in all the subjects together.
